Terms of Service
Last updated: 13 August 2026
1. The Service
The Building Bridges Accelerator Leaders Directory (the "Service") is a private, membership-based professional directory and networking platform for leaders of startup accelerators, incubators and innovation programs. The Service is operated by Building Bridges together with Digital Visions ("we", "us"). By applying for membership, creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms.
2. Eligibility and membership
- Membership is open to individuals with an active leadership role in an accelerator, incubator, venture program or comparable ecosystem organization.
- All applications are reviewed by our team. We may accept or decline any application at our sole discretion, and may revoke membership in case of misuse.
- You must provide accurate, current information and keep your profile up to date. Impersonation or misrepresentation is grounds for immediate removal.
3. Acceptable use
As a member you agree to:
- use member data (names, emails, profiles, asks) exclusively for professional networking within the spirit of the community;
- not scrape, export, resell or mass-message the directory, or add members to mailing lists without their individual consent;
- keep your login credentials confidential and not share account access with others;
- not post unlawful, misleading, or promotional-spam content on the asks board.
4. Fees
During the launch period, founding membership is free of charge. Paid membership tiers and partner sponsorships may be introduced later; the applicable prices and billing terms will be shown at the point of purchase before you commit to any payment. Fees, where charged, are billed annually and are non-refundable except where required by law or stated otherwise at purchase.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the information you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host and display it to other members within the Service for the purpose of operating the directory. You can request correction or removal of your profile at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
6. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice to members.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of business or loss of data arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law. Member profiles are self-reported; while we verify applications, we do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by members.
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time via the contact form. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where practicable.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the registered seat of the operator. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected.
